Welcome back Athletes, Parents and New Members to the 2015/ 2016 season at Kings Langley Little Athletics Centre.

This season has a lot planned to happen with our centre holding the Great Western Challenge in November, plus many more fun activities throughout season. I wish all of the athletes the best throughout these competitions and remember, it’s all about Family Fun and Fitness.

The 2014/2015 season saw a lot of our athletes advance to the Regional and State Championship were our centre was well represented. Records were broken and many personal best were achieved, while keeping fit and having fun doing so.

Our centre has a great team of volunteers who give their time freely every week, this includes in the off season to make our centre great. We like to make each athletes experience within our centre as valuable and memorable as possible, one which you will make everlasting friendships, tell your friends about and most importantly having fun doing so.

An important part of our centre being successful is our parent helpers who voluntarily dedicate their time each and every week throughout our season. We are always looking for helpers with events, setting up, packing up, running the BBQ and even Age Managing. For those enthusiastic helpers, we can even help you obtain training and coaching in track and field events. Our centre wouldn’t be able to run as smoothly as it does. It is a rewarding experience that you will enjoy and will be appreciated not only by our committee and our athletes but your children as well.

I would like to take the opportunity to welcome back and thank all of our sponsors who have kindly agreed to be associated with our centre. Welcome aboard to all of new sponsors, I hope that your experience with our centre is beneficial and a memorable one.

In closing, I would like to thank all of the committee members for volunteering their time to make our centre the way it is today. ‘A Great One!’

Finally to all of our athletes, have a fantastic season, try your best, have fun while competing and never give up. Try to make it a memorable season at Kings Langley Little Athletics Centre.
